I'm home now.

I returned home yesterday. It's really weary to experience a long journey.
Because the chinese new year is comming soon, many migrant workers who work in the big cities go home to celebrate the spring festival,it becomes very crowded both in the railway station and on the train.
And I'm very luky to have bought a seat ticket, thus there is no need to stand on the train for several hours or even more.Maybe it's a litte terrible to imagine the picture.
However, when I got home,Dad had prepared the delicious lunch for me,which let me feel relaxed and comfortable, not only due to daddy's excellent cooking but also the family's warmth.
I'll stay with my parents for a month,a period of time that I must tressure well.
During the following days,I am going to read some world classics that I borrowed from our school library, such as“A Tale of Two Cites”,“Pride and Prejudice”.I love reading, which can develop my field of vision and help me to understand more knowledge.
Yes,it could be a happy winter vacation!

Ella,
So glad you made it home safely. I plan to celebrate Chinese New Year with my family as well. Although Sophia is only two years old, I want to teach her as much as I can about China, and to have her grow up being a proud Chinese/American. I loved being in China.....a part of my heart will always belong there now that we have been blessed with Sophia. I hope to return in the next year to year and a half to adopt another little girl. Then, when they are old enough, my husband and I will bring them to China to see their beautiful homeland where they are from. Enjoy your winter vacation with your family. I hope you find the time to read your books you want as well. ;)

How wonderful to be home with your family!!! I hope you can savor every moment, without the time flying by too quickly. Sounds wonderful to have a month of vacation spread before you, in the company of your family and with a few books to curl up with in your spare moments! I love reading when I am on vacation, away from the normal cares and stress of daily life.

Are you reading the books in English or in a Chinese translation? I am so amazed when people are as fluent as you are in a second language...and to be able to read classic literature in a second language...WOW! That would be so cool! My oldest daughter and I studied some Chinese characters (a FEW!!!), but it just blows my mind to realize how MANY of them we would have to learn before we could even hope to read the simplest literature in Chinese. I think it would take us years and years of DEDICATED study. So far, I have lacked the self-discipline needed to really accomplish very much towards learning either to speak or write/read Chinese. I admire you for all you have accomplished so far with the English language.

I hope you have a really, really wonderful New Year!

Glad you are home again and that you were welcomed with food and comfort after your long journey!

I look forward to reading more about your winter vacation. I also really love to read and am in the middle of an excellent book right now and have 3 others waiting for me. (I spend too much time on the computer to get the books read quickly!)

Bye, for now!

You have chosen two very excellent books to read. I hope that you enjoy them.
I will get your address to my daughter so that she can write you a letter.
